Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD) indicates to pathological and compulsive Internet usage. The criteria for this disorder are similar to those for subÂstance abuse disorders.

How To Recover From Online Addiction
- Use alarm or timer that tracks usage. Set a time and if alarm buzzes - STOP using internet.
- Use internet in presence of your family members.
- Have radio or TV program on that regularly mentions the time of day.
- Change habbits - when you feel like browsing - go for a walk in fresh air.
- Take a long holiday.
- Finish your work first then surf only if needed.
- Get other interests, hobbies, and passions.
- Call your friends.
